A Soldier from the 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, uses the scope on his M4 rifle to search the rooftop of a house close to a building being searched during a joint clearance mission near Joint Service Station Doura, Iraq, Dec. 26, 2009. The intent of the mission was to search for suspected vehicle born improvised explosive device materials in the area, after multiple VBIED attacks were recorded in the area.
