Lance Cpl. David J. Ramos pauses at the corner of a wall to ensure security before continuing on a combined patrol with the Iraqi Army. Ramos and other Marines with C Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment conducted combined security patrols with soldiers from 1st Battalion, 4th Brigade, 1st Iraqi Army Division. The Iraqi soldiers are preparing to take over this portion of the battalion?s operations area.
