SEA OF JAPAN (January 27, 2016)- Chief Machinery Repairman Brian Pierce, a member of amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland’s (LSD 48) damage control training team (DCTT), instructs Sailors in the proper method to remove a helicopter battery in the event of a helicopter crash on the flight deck.
