A U.S. Army Soldier from the 982nd Combat Camera Company (Airborne), East Point, Ga., fires at a simulated target in order to provide combat lifesaving measures to a casualty, as her secondary mission of her primary (combat) mission during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training exercise during a two-day certification held at OK Gun Corral Club, Okeechobee, Fla., Jan. 30, 2016. The combat lifesaver is trained to provide immediate care that can save a casualty’s life, such as stopping severe bleeding, administering intravenous fluids to control shock and performing needle chest decompression for a casualty with tension pneumothorax. TCCC introduces evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Tracy McKithern/Released)
