Staff Sgt. Robert Brooks leads a formation during band practice at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Jan. 29, 2015. The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band continuously practices their skills as both musicians and Marines as they must combine their musical talent with military marching proficiency. This ensemble of Marine musicians completes more than 150 commitments annually and travels in excess of 30,000 miles. Throughout their travels, they uphold the old and honored Marine traditions of pride, professionalism, and esprit de corps. Brooks is a drum major with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2.
