A first responder from Florida returns fire in order to provide combat life-saving measures to a simulated casualty during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training held at OK Gun Corral Club, Okeechobee, Fla., Jan. 30, 2016. The combat lifesaver is trained to provide immediate care that can save a casualty's life, such as stopping severe bleeding, administering intravenous fluids to control shock and performing needle chest decompression for a casualty with tension pneumothorax. The two-day TCCC certification training introduces evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
