An A-10C Thunderbolt II sits on the flight line at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., April 27, 2015. The A-10 is used for close air support, airborne forward air control, and combat search and rescue. The first production A-10A was delivered to D-M in October 1975.
