A student from Matthew C. Perry Junior High School writes Japanese calligraphy during a cultural exchange event at Takamori Midori Junior High School in Kuga, Japan, Feb. 2, 2016. Japanese students loaned their brushes and ink to M.C. Perry students and showed them the techniques used in calligraphy. M.C.
