Spc. Kenneth Harris, 93rd Military Police Battalion, looks through the reflex sight of the German made Heckler and Koch G36 Assault Rifle Feb. 3 as part of a weapons qualification course to earn the German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship. The event was hosted by members of the German Air Force Air Defense Center. The G36 is equipped with dual optical sights for firing at different distances. The lower sight consists of a magnified telescopic sight for firing at 200 meters or farther. The top sight consists of an unmagnified reflex sight for firing at close ranges.
