Col. Mike Murray, commander of the 1st Cavalry 3rd Brigade Combat Team and Lt. Col. James Mingo, commander of 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment discuss the situation at the scene of explosion near the entrance to an Iraqi National Guard compound that borders the International Zone in central Baghdad. A vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated killing two people including a member of the Iraqi Intervention Force and wounding seven Iraqi civilians.
