More than 20 Marines with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa battled it out against more than 100 children, ages between five and 13, during the third ever "Nerf Battle" at the gymnasium aboard Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, Feb. 8. Created in November 2014, the air station's Youth Morale, Welfare and Recreation designed the event as a way for the community to get to know the Marines during each one of SPMAGTF-CR-AF's deployments and to foster continuing relationships.
