Vice Adm. C. Forrest Faison, Navy surgeon general and chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, visits with a centering pregnancy group during a tour of Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Feb. 4. Faison toured the center that tends to the medical needs of 46,000 active duty, retirees and their dependents. The surgeon general’s top priority is concerned with ensuring the medical readiness of the Navy and Marine Corps forces. “More so than ever before, it’s critical we maintain our health and readiness, today and tomorrow, so we can accomplish our naval mission,” said Faison.
