160212-N-VS214-191 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 12, 2016) Seaman Alexandrea Morris directs amphibious assault vehicles (AAVs), attached to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU), into the well deck of dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). More than 4,500 Sailors and Marines from the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th MEU departed San Diego today for a deployment to the 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
