160212-N-GV721-102 SAN DIEGO (Feb. 12, 2016) Sailors and Marines assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) man-the-rails as the ship deploys from Naval Base San Diego. More than 4,500 Sailors and Marines from Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) departed San Diego today for a deployment to the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
