On Feb. 17, the railhead at Camp Humphreys was officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a tracked engineer recovery vehicle was the first vehicle to roll off the train and onto the railhead. Key members of the Far East District’s railhead project delivery team were present for the ribbon cutting: Myles Esmele, project engineer; Richard Butler, construction representative; Shane Kobialka, division branch chief of project management; Maj. Allison W. Flowers, deputy area engineer; David M. Talbot, resident engineer, family housing resident office; Greg Reiff, area engineer; and Col. Stephen H. Bales, Far East District commander.
