A call from the Fort Myer police dispatcher sounds over the radio during a morning patrol involving U.S. Army Reserve military police Soldiers from the 200th Military Police Command, working alongside active duty Soldiers from the 289th MP Company, belonging to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), to provide law and order, security and patrol support at various active duty installations in the Military District of Washington, Feb. 17. This partnership pilot program began in early February, placing Army Reserve Soldiers on active duty orders for three weeks while working at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Fort Lesley J.
