Recruits of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct crunches during an initial physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 19. Recruits had two minutes to conduct a minimum number of crunches while their partner counted each repetition out loud. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate April 15.
