An electronic medical device designed to relieve anxiety, insomnia and depression lies on the abdomen of a Soldier during an alternative medicine treatment session at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic, Feb. 11. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization completed a five-year study regarding the use of Complementary and Alternative Medicine on troops through a multi-country task force that shadowed the holistic approach WBAMC has had in place since 2003.
