An aeromedical evacuation team of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and U.S. Air Force carries a patient with simulated injuries from a U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk to a waiting C-130 Hercules during a patient transfer training Feb. 17, 2016, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Exercise Cope North 16 enhances humanitarian assistance and disaster relief crisis response capabilities between six nations and lays the foundation for regional cooperation expansion during real-world contingencies in the Indo-Asia-Pacific Region.
