Medical personnel aboard Comfort are training to receive patients as part of Operation Unified Response to conduct humanitarian and disaster relief operations after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake caused severe damage near Port-au-Prince, Jan. 12. Comfort brings the capability of one of the largest trauma facilities in the U.S., capable of providing a full spectrum of surgical and medical services.
