Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins transport a girl to the medical evacuation holding area at Killick Haitian Navy Coast Guard Base. The girl was given a teddy bear by the ship crew. Higgins was on her way home from a scheduled deployment when she was diverted to assist in Operation Unified Response following a 7.0 Magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, Jan. 12.
