Runners, walkers, wheelchair and adapted racers of all ages prepare for Alamo Run Fest 5K, in San Antonio, Feb. 21, 2016. In addition to the 5K, a 10K and half-marathon were available to the athletes. Forty-eight states were represented on the course. Through coordination with nearby Fort Sam-Houston, the half-marathon track reached its mid-point on the joint base, creating a connection among the local civilian and military populations.
