The Compton, California native, along with other soldiers assigned to work on Camp Prosperity, Iraq, gathered to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the MWR Theater, where guest speaker Dr. Leanon Trawick, of Philadelphia, currently the chief deputy of the Joint Visitors Cell, on Union III spoke on the progress we have made as a nation because of the groundwork laid by Dr. King.
