Michael Heimdale, a crew chief with D Troop, 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, and native of Cushing, Okla., Jan. 15. Salamanca mentors Heimdale, who recently arrived at his unit, just as other Soldiers in their units work together on a daily basis.
