NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 25, 2016) Sailors assigned the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) cut a mass casualty actor's uniform to assess the burns on her body during a mass casualty drill. This mass casualty drill, which consisted of Sailors from Wasp, Fleet Surgical Team (FST) 8, FST 6, FST 2, and actors from Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, was done for the Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and evaluated by Surface Force Atlantic (SURFLANT) to test the ships ability to do surgery.
