Marion Davis commander of the 252 Combined Arms Battalion, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, North Carolina National Guard, hand over envelopes of money during a payment made to the family members of fallen Iraqi security forces members in Jaza'ir, Baghdad, Iraq, Jan. 10. The intent of the mission was to pay the surviving relatives of three Iraqi security forces members that were killed in a vehicle borne improvised explosive device attack Dec. 8, 2009.
