Capt. Michael Davis, commander, assigned to Forward Support Company, 980th Engineer Battalion, speaks with Doug Molof, Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Lloyd Doggett (D-TX-35) during a tour of Washington. Davis and fellow members of the unit’s Family Readiness Group had the opportunity to visit offices of their home state representatives of Texas after receiving the 2015 Department of Defense Reserve Family Readiness Award during a ceremony at the Pentagon Hall of Heroes, Feb. 26, as the best FRG in the Army Reserve.
