Minutes after arriving on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Senior Chief Construction Electrician John Smith briefs Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four. NMCB Four is one of two additional Seabee battalions that deployed in support of the President's new troop uplift. The battalion, whose main job is expeditionary construction, will play a key role in providing necessary engineering support to arriving U.S. forces.
