Recruits of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, run during a physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 23. To start off the session, recruits ran half a mile with their drill instructors and then were separated into groups. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate April 29.
