Spc. Jennifer Mercer, of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, evokes a response from onlookers after reading a poem about snooping through her boyfriend's things during a poetry reading Jan. 18. A male Soldier grabbed the microphone after she spoke and loudly exclaimed, "Why you go through my stuff?," as the crowd roared with laughter. The reading was a scheduled event in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
