Constance Vaughn, 773rd Civil Engineer Squadron Operations Management, uses a rubber band to work out her acute knee injury in a controlled and healthy manner with the guidance of Senior Airman Erik Hayworth, 673d Medical Operations Squadron physical medicine technician, at the physical therapy clinic on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 14, 2015. The acute care program is opening its arms to all beneficiaries Nov. 6, 2015. The program, part of the physical therapy clinic, responds to acute injuries for quicker treatment.
