Josh Calhoun, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73), observes an F/A-18E Super Hornet from the "Sunliners" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 81 perform an arrested landing on the ship's flight deck. Washington is homeported in Norfolk after serving seven years in Yokosuka, Japan, as the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
