160307-N-ZZ999-001 CHINHAE, Republic of Korea (Mar. 7, 2016) - Construction Mechanic 3rd Class Ben McCallum, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, and ROK Seabee Diver Jong, prepare to enter the water to assist in placement of concrete blocks for an expeditionary wharf. UCT 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Alfa (CDDA) is training with ROK Seabees and ROK Seabee Divers on port damage repairs and underwater construction techniques as part of Exercise FOAL EAGLE 2016. CDDA is on the second stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
