U.S. Army Col. Vernon Simpson, commander of 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team and his senior enlisted adviser, Command Sgt. Maj. Ralph Johnson, case the unit colors March 10, during a transfer of authority ceremony on Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. During the ceremony the 30th ABCT relinquished command of Multinational Battle Group-East to the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division.
