Firefighters assigned to Fire Station 1 cautiously approach a Black Hawk helicopter with hose ready during a simulated emergency exercise conducted Jan. 31 at Camp Liberty, Iraq. The exercise, which included air crews from 3rd Squadron, 158th Aviation Regiment, firefighters, military police, medics, air traffic controllers and Department of State personnel, was conducted to ensure first responders are prepared to handle worst-case scenarios.
