Isaac Pineda explains radio communications to a member of Girl Scout Troop 435 during a demonstration of Marine Corps communication systems March 12 during a Jane Wayne Day aboard Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. Girl Scout Troop 435 attended Jane Wayne Day to participate in various challenges and activities and gain a better understanding of some of the physical challenges military service members face. During the event, members of the troop learned about radios, the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, ran a modified combat fitness test, perused medical equipment and donned chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear defense equipment. Pineda is a field radio operator with Communications Company, Headquarters Regiment, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force and a Cypress, California, native.
