Marines from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit leave a CH-47 Sea Knight as they prepare to engage a command and control cell at Udari Range, Kuwait, as part of their final exercise, Jan. 23. From the moment the helicopters landed, the Marines hit the ground running, clearing the command and control cell and leaving the area in under an hour. Udari range provides a unique opportunity for many units training in Third Army's area of responsibility, allowing battalion sized live-fire scenarios for all warfighters to train with the maximum amount of realism in a controlled and safe environment.
