Then-Staff Sgt. Felicia Rodriguez with teammates Jan. 15, 2006, while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Rodriguez, now a First Sergeant, is the enlisted leader of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne)’s Group Support Battalion’s Headquarters Company and credits two women, a Sergeant First Class Baker and Staff Sgt. Larynilsa Medina, as examples of excellent leaders she served with as a junior enlisted soldier.
