BANGOR, Wash. (March 16, 2016) – Electronics Technician (Nuclear) 2nd Class Adam Sidelinker, from Salisbury, N.C., assigned to the Blue crew of the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Maine (SSBN 741), is welcomed home to Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor by his family following a routine strategic deterrent patrol. Maine is one of eight ballistic-missile submarines stationed at the base providing the most survivable leg of the strategic deterrence triad for the United States.
