SINGAPORE (Feb. 17, 2016) - Bill Tageson, bottom, guides a fuel specialist and first responder from the British Defence Singapore Support Unit (BDSSU) on the proper employment of a spill boom at Sembawang Wharves during an annual Facility Response Training Exercise conducted Feb 17, 2016. The annual training event was part of a joint effort with the Navy Region Center Singapore Environmental Department and the BDSSU to hone and maintain first responder techniques and capabilities in case a fuel, oil or hazardous material spill occurs at the port.
