    NEW YORK (March 18, 2016) The Navy Recruiting District New York Color Guard presents colors during a change of command ceremony at the Fort Hamilton Army Reserve Center in Brooklyn. During the ceremony, Cmdr. Jason Sticht, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, relieved command from Commanding Officer Cmdr. David Byrd, from Marion, North Carolina. Navy Recruiting District New York was established in 1972 to help create an all-volunteer naval force and consists of 40 recruiting stations covering an area of 7,700 square miles.
