U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Brittany Trimble, 36th Fighter Squadron pilot, plugs her air flight crew equipment into an F-16 Fighting Falcon before takeoff, Feb. 15, 2016, at Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand. Women were first allowed to enter pilot training in 1976 and in 1993 women were finally authorized to enter fighter pilot training.
