Sgt. Ian Prescott, a paratrooper with 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division (Advise and Assist Brigade), prepares a harness single-point release for his modular lightweight load-carrying equipment, a type of backpack, during a basic airborne skills refresher course being taught by instructors from Fort Bragg's Advanced Airborne School Feb. 5, at Camp Ramadi, Iraq. The harness single-point release will allow him to lower his pack to the ground prior to his own impact to prevent injury to himself or his equipment.
