Lance Cpl. James D. Easterling, a dog handler with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, inspects his working dog, Cpl. Boomer, before marching with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, at Camp Dwyer, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Feb. 6. Boomer's specialty is finding roadside bombs. Boomer has found five bombs since coming here more than 10 months ago, Easterling said.
