This ceremony concluded a week long series of events where the 14 finalist participated in personal and professional evolutions as well as leadership, naval heritage and team-building events. Ilagan will travel to Washington, D.C. to compete in the Chief of Naval Operations Shore SOY competition where the winner will be meritoriously promoted to chief petty officer.
