160325-N-VX726-038 PACIFIC OCEAN (March 25, 2016) U.S. Coast Guardsmen assigned to the Legend-class national security cutter USCGC Waesche (WMSL 751) connect a pallet to an MH-60R helicopter assigned to the "Jaguars" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 60 during a vertical replenishment (VERTREP) with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) in the eastern Pacific Ocean. Lassen is currently underway in support of Operation Martillo, a joint operation with the U.S. Coast Guard and partner nations within the 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
