Navy Seaman Recruit Cameron Bramham and Seaman Apprentice Tamekia Perdue unwrap a batch of new snow shovels during the cleanup at the Center for Service Support Detachment barracks after a record-breaking blizzard slammed the U.S. East Coast over the weekend, dumping nearly 30 inches of snow over the Washington, D.C./Baltimore metro area. The CSSD barracks houses sailors who are training in various media and public affairs specialties at the joint-service Defense Information School. Bramham and Purdue are enrolled in the Basic Public Affairs Specialist Course. They and their shipmates spent over eight hours clearing walkways of the hard-packed snow.
