Station Chincoteague's Petty Officer 3rd Class Daniel Nelson and Seaman Avrie Isaac untie the station's shallow water boat to trailor it, keeping it from being unnecessarily damaged as severe weather moves into the area Wednesday morning, Feb. 10. The snow started to fall again, the wind chill dropped to 15 degrees and the wind was blowing nearly 40 knots on average with gusts close to 50. The station is also equipped with a self-righting 47-foot Motor Life Boat which is used around the country in severe sea conditions. (Photo by: Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrew Kendrick)
