U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. James Velier, a scout sniper with Scout Sniper Platoon, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, also known as “The Lava Dogs”, fires a sniper rifle during the Korean Marine Exchange Program (KMEP) in South Korea, April 6, 2016. KMEP is a program designed to increase interoperability and camaraderie between U.S. Marines and ROK marines.
