USS BOXER, AT SEA (April 6, 2016) - Petty Officer 2nd Class Robert Rexroat, a U.S. Navy Corpsman with the USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group, moves the sensor of an X-Ray machine into position over a simulated patient during a mass casualty drill. The ship’s crew and the Sailors assigned to Marine commands work together to assess, stabilize and treat any injured persons including civilians, Marines and other Sailors in the event of multiple casualties returning to the Boxer. Drills like these challenge medical personnel to use their skills in a high-tempo environment and improve readiness across the Navy-Marine Corps team. The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group/13th MEU is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility to support regional stability and security. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
